Surveying

Our SERVICES

Surveying

Surveyors measure and map the land and its features, determine property boundaries, and establish key reference points for development and infrastructure projects, including the as-built of new services. We provide all the necessary data for the documentation of new boundaries created through subdivision.

What surveying services does TrueSouth offer?

Surveying encompasses a broad range of work, that can be generally classified as ongoing land development project work, or one-off surveys – TrueSouth provides both these types of services.

Topographical
Surveys

We use latest technology to survey existing site levels and features. We prepare detailed and comprehensive topographical plans.

Construction & Building Set-Out

We accurately locate buildings, services and earthworks, prior to and post construction, for certification purposes.

Boundary Location Surveys

If you are building close to a boundary or constructing a fence, it is likely you need to know exactly where your boundaries are located, which we mark for your easy reference.

Residential & Rural Subdivisions

We have vast experience in both residential and rural subdivisions and can undertake small to large scale subdivisions. Our surveyors work alongside our in-house engineer for a complete service.

Multi-Housing & Unit Titles

We assist with subdivision layout design, unit title subdivision plans, services, right of way design, engineering certifications & final land transfer survey approval, including creation of new easements.

Boundary Adjustments

Boundary adjustments are a form of subdivision that do not create additional titles. Boundary adjustments can be used to adjust existing boundaries to new, more suitable locations.

Rentable Area Surveys (BOMA)

Rentable Area Surveys define the areas included in a lease document. Rentable Area Surveys are carried out under the ‘Guide for the Measurement of Rentable Areas’ prepared by the PCNZ & PINZ

Easement & Covenant Surveys

We provide Easement & Convenant plans used to document and define land use rights granted to non-owners and property owners.

Aerial Mapping & Drone Surveys

We use a Phantom 4 RTK drone to produce high quality orthophotos and accurate 3D digital terrain models.

Legalisation
Surveys

We prepare survey office plans to define parcels of land required for public works. Typically, legalisation surveys are carried out under either the Public Works Act 1981 or the Local Government Act 2002.

Hydrographic Surveys

We provide bathymetric data capture for inland waterways with our sonar equipment interfaced with RTK GPS.

Geodetic Surveys

Provision of geodetic control including reconnaissance, design, capture and adjustment of large and small networks.
